How Invisalign Works
Invisalign doesn’t rely on any brackets or wires. It consists of a series of custom, clear aligners. Wearing these trays for a set time will move your teeth into the right positions.
The Invisalign process only has a few crucial rules. Firstly, you must wear any given aligner for one to two weeks. (This tray is exchanged for a new one afterward.) Rule two is to wear your trays for 20-22 hours daily. If you stick to these guidelines, you should finish your aligner journey in roughly a year or so.

The Invisalign treatment process has various benefits. The most common ones are:

The cost of orthodontic work doesn’t have much to do with treatment benefits. It’s impacted more by the severity of the issues and how long the alignment takes.
Also, dental insurance can apply to Invisalign treatment. Your own may cover Invisalign if it applies to orthodontic care as a whole. In that latter case, your plan could cover up to 60% of the cost depending on your plan. Plus, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) funds can be used in conjunction with your dental policy. Invisalign TEEN
Invisalign TEEN (per its name) has all of the upsides of regular Invisalign with minor adjustments made for younger patients. The first is a small dot on the back of each tray, which helps teens and parents monitor treatment. Also, every Invisalign TEEN system comes with up to six replacement aligners. Your child can then stay on track even if they damage or “lose” trays.
Reveal Clear Aligners are Also Available
While Reveal aligners are similar to Invisalign trays, they have distinct advantages. One is that they don’t ever need attachments or buttons like Invisalign. Reveal aligners also don’t get stained or clouded over time. Lastly, these trays have scalloped edges that make them comfier to wear.
