What are Veneers?

Dental veneers are versatile because they can be used to treat minor cosmetic imperfections as well as major ones. They are custom-crafted, thin sheaths that are usually made from porcelain or composite. Each veneer is made to fit over the front surface of the teeth that you want to repair, improving their shape, size, and overall appearance.

The Process of Getting Veneers

Before your veneers can be attached to the surface of your teeth, our team will need to prepare them. We’ll do this by removing a very thin layer of your dental enamel (about the thickness of a contact lens), which will allow the veneers to lay flush with your surrounding teeth. After this is done, we will take digital impressions of your mouth and adhere temporary veneers over the prepared teeth to keep them protected and allow you to get a feel for what it will be like with your permanent veneers.

It takes about two weeks for us to receive your veneers from the dental laboratory. These will be custom-shaded and shaped to look completely natural. We’ll remove your temporary ones and permanently cement your custom veneers over your teeth to complete the process!

The Benefits of Veneers

Veneers offer a number of benefits for patients who are looking to refresh and beautify their smiles, including:

  • Customized results that look and feel natural
  • Lifespan of 20+ years (porcelain) with good oral hygiene and maintenance
  • Easy to care for, just brush and floss like you typically would
  • Final results within two to three weeks
  • Porcelain is stain-resistant, keeping them from becoming discolored

Understanding the Cost of Veneers

When it comes to the cost of veneers in Centennial, it’s important to note that every case is different. The final price will depend on how many veneers you need to have crafted and placed, and whether any other procedures are needed beforehand. Our team will go over a cost estimate of your treatment with you at the end of your consultation, as well as discuss all of your payment options.
